Have you heard about Upromise yet? Its been around for a few years - Since 2001 in fact! If you have a young child, you should seriously consider signing up. They offer savings for college thru a bunch of different ways. You can add coupons to your grocery card, shop online or sign up for a credit card to earn more! You can also register your credit/debit cards and earn money each time you use them at participating stores and restaurants, or purchase participating items at the grocery store.
I signed up back in 2004, before I even had a child! Since that time I have earned nearly $350, which was all transferred to a 529 plan that my daughter can use someday when she is ready for college! Not bad for free money!
