You know what today is?
Today is the anniversary of a day I never thought I would look back on fondly! I still wouldn't say I look back on it fondly, but I have a much better outlook about it now!
Five years ago today we were at an appointment with the second fertility specialist. We were getting a second opinion because we did not like the opinion of the first guy. It turns out, they both had the same opinion! I remember it so clearly, as if time froze for a minute or two.
We were told we had less than a 1% chance of ever concieving a child on our own. We both had fertility issues so the odds were really stacked against us.
Well guess what...
They were wrong!
We just celebrated our daughter's third birthday on Monday!!
